Wat is de NYSE precies?
De NYSE is gevestigd aan Wall Street in Manhattan en bestaat sinds 1792. Hier noteren ongeveer 2.400 bedrijven met een gezamenlijke beurswaarde van ruim $28 biljoen. Anders dan de NASDAQ (volledig elektronisch) is de NYSE een hybride: er is nog steeds een fysieke trading floor met designated market makers naast het elektronische orderboek.
De S&P 500 en de Dow Jones hebben beide hun zwaartepunt op de NYSE. Voor Nederlandstalige beleggers is de NYSE belangrijk omdat:
- Vrijwel iedere broker NYSE-toegang biedt.
- Veel “veilige” dividend-fondsen (Procter & Gamble, Johnson & Johnson, Coca-Cola) hier noteren.
- De handelstijden (15:30 – 22:00 NL-tijd) goed aansluiten op de Europese namiddag.
Hoe NYSE-draadjes lopen op het forum
Amerikaanse aandelen krijgen op Beursig forum vaak twee soorten discussie:
- Voor de opening: leden delen pre-market futures, earnings die avond, en macro-nieuws.
- Na sluiten: cijfersanalyses, koersbewegingen en doorrekenen wat het betekent voor de Europese opening van de volgende dag.
Dat ritme maakt NYSE-draadjes een goede aanvulling voor wie ook in Amsterdam belegt.
Belasting en valuta-risico
